<\/p>\n Defence for Children International-Canada<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n is pleased to invite you to attend a<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Celebration of the Life of Les Horne<\/p>\n \u00a06:00 pm on November 17, 2011\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong>at the City of Toronto Archives 255 Spadina Rd., Toronto<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n So many are grieving the recent loss of Les Horne, first Child Advocate in Ontario, founding member of DCI-Canada and true champion for children. Several of those who knew him well will reminisce about his life and the contributions he made to the lives of those he touched.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n There will also be an opportunity for guests to speak of their own encounters with him, and celebrate his wit, his kind generosity, his wisdom, as well as the breadth of his knowledge and the skill with which he negotiated and often reshaped Ontario\u2019s system of services for children.<\/p>\n Light refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span> <\/A> . <\/a> .
